2008 Mushers Bowl—Winter Carnival Schedule of Events

Contact the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber at 207-647-3472 for up to the moment details.

The Chamber Information Center will be the outpost for all details on events and changes to the Mushers Bowl Winter Carnival activities. It will be open 9 AM to 5 PM all eight days of the Winter Carnival. Call us at 207-647-3472 for any MBWC questions. SATURDAY, JANUARY 19TH

The 2nd Annual Community Cultural Celebration will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008. It will be a day to view displays, hear stories, sample foods, and even purchase mementoes of many cultures. Last year's event was held over 9 days, but this year will see all activities held at one time, so those who wish to see all cultures will be able to with one visit.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 20TH

The Lakes Biathlon is scheduled at Five Fields Farm, Bridgton.
Sponsored in part by the Maine Winter Sports Center

10:00 AM Biathlon Clinic for all comers
11:30 AM Biathlon Race
2:00 PM 5K Cross Country Ski Race Open to all levels

Food and other recreational activities will be available as well.

MONDAY, JANUARY 21ST

Bridgton Superstars Challenge and field events for the whole family at Stevens Brook Elementary School.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 24TH

The 4th Annual Chamber All Stars vs. the combined Bridgton Police/Fire Departments Basketball Classic to support C.H.O.I.C.E.S. The game will benefit local programs that promote healthy life choices for youth. Site to be announced.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 25TH

The Winter Carnival Variety Show Site to be announced.
