Point Sebago 2008 Calendar of Events

Jan 1 – Early April – Resort lodging open for Winter Ski, Snowboard, Tubing and Snowmobile enthusiasts.

Feb 22, 23 & 24 One of Maine’s largest winter events, Maine WinterFest and Ice Derby Fest, at Point Sebago Resort.

Mid - Late April Point Sebago Golf Course opens. Exact date weather permitting.

April 25 Point Sebago Resort opens for 2008 Spring/Summer Season with special off-season rates.

April 25 – 27 Golf Package Weekend featuring Unlimited Play – Golfers warm up for the upcoming season with complete golf packages from $99 per person per day including lodging, unlimited greens fees with cart, breakfast & dinner.

April 25 – 27 Quilting Weekend Retreat – Getaway and quilt with your friends.

May 2 - 4 Scrapbooking Weekend – Scrapbooking Weekend Retreat

May 2 - 4 Drive for Show, Putt for Dough – Golfers test their skills in our Long Drive Competitions, Chipping Shootouts, even a Putting Challenge with a $5,000 Grand Prize. Plus Skins and Closest to the Pin events. A round of golf on Saturday and unlimited golf on Friday and/or Sunday, dinners with awards ceremony hosted by our Point Sebago golf pros are all part of this golf challenge extravaganza weekend.

May 9 - 11 & 16 – 18 Golf "Spring Training" Weekends - ($109 - 149 per person per night)
The perfect weekend to get one’s golf game in shape for the new season and hone one's skills. Great all-inclusive golf getaway packages. May 9th Weekend Moms Stay and Play Free.

May 23 - 26 Memorial Day Family Holiday 4 Day/3 Night Weekend - ($175 - 325 pp)
The entire family will enjoy our specially planned holiday activities. Lodging only and packages with meals included.

May 30 - June 1 Pirates of Sebago Family Weekend - ($135 - 250 pp)
One of Point Sebago’s most popular weekends… Point Sebago prides itself on a fun filled weekend of surprise and adventure. Treasure Quest Cruises, Bands of Roving Rowdy Pirates, Costume Contests, Treasure Hunts and Saturday night Dance with Entertainment and a chance to unlock the Pirate Chest filled with Point Sebago Prizes! All ages love this weekend. Special package values with meals included and lodging only rates available.

June dates TBD – Golf Learning Center Package
Six hours of instruction with golf stations designed to cover all elements of the golf game; full swing with woods, full swing with irons, pitching, chipping, sand trap and putting. Video/DVD Swing analysis, equipment evaluation, rule book discussions and much more. All for only $tbd in addition to our golf package when booked at least 7-days in advance (must be booked on a golf package to participate). $tbd if booked 6-days or less prior to golf training.

June 6 – 8 Summerfest Family Weekend – Red Sox vs. Yankees - ($140 - 250 pp)
A Family Weekend with a twist and activities with a Red Sox/Yankees rivalry flavor! Of course the games greatest rivalry will be on the big screen in the Sebago Lounge! Packages with meals included and lodging only rates available.

June 13 – 15 Summerfest Weekend – Maine Blues Festival - ($140 - 250 pp)
Free shuttle to the Blues Festival in nearby Naples (10 minutes) and tickets are included in packages. Get out your suntan lotion and sunglasses… Point Sebago’s welcome to summer weekend! It’s an active weekend, time to get moving and enjoy the beautiful weather! Packages with meals included and lodging only rates available.

Join the celebration as we sample Maine made beers and wines, browse the Maine artisan craft show, traditional costumes will abound as will German food. Take a ride on the horse drawn beer wagon. It's all here at Point Sebago during our Oktoberfest which is sure to be a fabulous fun filled weekend.

September 27 Brew Fest – Point Sebago hosts the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce Annual Brew Fest. This is the area’s biggest party and is held annually in conjunction with Oktoberfest weekend at the Resort. The Saturday celebration will feature Maine made beers, micro brews and wines, live music, plus a craft fair featuring dozens of Maine artisans. Great music, awesome German food and the popular Lake Region Community Theatre artisans’.

Oct 3 – 5 Murder Mystery Weekend – ($145 - 255 pp – Adults only weekend)
For people who like laugh and try to figure out “what’s next?” Characters abound... best keep your eyes wide and your ears open… leave no stone unturned as you search for clues to solve the weekend’s crime. Dress your best for Saturday night’s costume contest. Point Sebago is the only place in town where murder is on the menu! Special package values with meals included and lodging only rates available.

Oct.10 – 13 Monte Carlo Weekend (3 nights) – ($185 - 310 pp)
Bring your good luck charm and get ready to spin the wheel, roll the dice and deal the cards as you try to beat the house! Two-day auction, Surf & Turf Buffet, hayrides, games and arts and crafts. Clear crisp air and breathtaking foliage add to the excitement of Monte Carlo Weekend. All gaming proceeds benefit Camp Sunshine. Oct. 17 – 19 & 24 – 26 Halloween Family Weekends – ($140 - 250 pp)

Ghosts, goblins and creatures of the night stroll the Resort grounds. Take a trip deep into the Maine woods on our ghostly hayride. Creep through our Haunted House.
